Lennox Turns Three

One mont has passed but I am finally getting around to Lennox's three year post.

Lennox Mae you are three! So hard to believe that our tiny 6 pound 3 ounce baby girl is three years old. This has been such a busy year for Lenny, from potty training to becoming a big sister. Smart, hilarious, sweet and dramatic are only a few of the words to describe our first girl.

For Len's party I didn't have to look very far for inspiration. Everywhere you look in our house you see something to do with Peppa Pig and we definitely can't go one day without watching one episode. Searching around for Peppa decorations was easy and my mom found most of the items at Party Place in the city. If you search on amazon you will find plenty of options as well. Im not sure if my kids the only one who likes to do this, but when ever we are waiting at the deli for our lunch meat Len loves to look through the cake book. No homemade cake for us, she knew she wanted the Peppa cake from the grocery store. Another thing she knew she wanted was a Peppa piñata, and lots of candy! I picked up most the candy after Halloween when it went on sale. One thing I knew I wanted to do was add a cut out of Peppa for photos. Searching Pinterest I was able to send my mom a photo of exactly what I wanted and she knocked it out of the park!

We always celebrate Lens birthday with her friends and family at the end of November, since its hard to find a weekend where the majority of people are free in December. This also works out for people who travel from the city to not have to worry about road conditions. On her actual birthday we went to visit Mitch at work and stayed with him at his hotel for pizza and swimming as a family of four.
