Revive Superfoods

I am not going to lie, the thought of getting food delivered in the mail totally sketched me out, at first. Then I got the opportunity to try Revive Superfoods smoothies. A food delivery service that takes the shopping and prep work out of creating a healthy smoothie for anyone to enjoy.

To save myself from sounding like an infomercial I am going to talk about my experience with healthy eating. I am lazy when it comes to food prep, add two small kids and a husband who is barely home on top of that and it becomes impossible for me to find the drive to make healthy snacks. Always the one to buy the overpriced veggie and fruit platters from the store, I needed something that was affordable and quick. Enter Revive Superfoods. Stepping outside to take my garbage out I was shocked to find my box of frozen smoothies at my door, I guess I don't have to go buy overpriced platters today. As soon as I opened the box I found that the packaging was so bright and colourful, which is awesome for making my three year old excited about anything. The next day I tried the hint of mint one and was instantly hooked. Not only was it quick and easy to make (add liquid of choice and blend) but it was also delicious. Now for the real test, my three year old. The toughest critic of them all. I let her pick and from looking at the pictures she instantly went for the one with the pretty strawberry (strawberry zen). After her first sip my husband and I watched to see what her reaction would be. MMM yummy, is all she said and from there she went and sat at her little table enjoying her smoothie. Inside we both celebrated with a little happy dance, not letting her see we were happy about this because its not cool if mom and dad think its good, is she three or thirteen?.
